Sunny Delight Chooses The McRae Agency to Head National “Swim to Success Program”

(Phoenix Oct. 3, 2007): Sunny Delight Beverages Co. (SunnyD) has chosen The McRae Agency to head its public and media relations campaign for a national “Swim to Success Program” – designed to support often-overlooked recreation centers across the country.

SunnyD provided donations and recreational equipment as part of this new swim program, and challenged kids at various recreation centers – and their respective neighborhoods – to think outside the “bottle” and come up with creative ways to collect as many SunnyD UPC labels as they could.  SunnyD awarded the center in each city with the most labels with $1,000; the national winner received a grand prize of $10,000.

The McRae Agency has previous experience working with SunnyD.  The company selected The McRae Agency to help launch its newest product, FruitSimple, a 100-percent pure and natural fruit smoothie.  SunnyD is testingFruitSimple in Arizona, and the success of this statewide campaign led to the opportunity to work with SunnyD on a national level.
