Bridget is also actively involved with creative brainstorming and development, as well as reporting, media relations, Internet and other informal market research, and event coordination. Bridget has helped manage dozens of award-winning marketing programs for clients in a variety of niche areas, including consumer product/services, real estate/construction and business-to-business clients. Her writing and media relations skills have routinely resulting in coverage for clients in trade, business and consumer magazines, daily and community newspapers, and cable and network affiliate television program throughout the U.S. and Canada. She has won numerous awards for her work, both locally and nationally. She was named by San Diego Metropolitan Magazine’s annual “40 Under 40” honor roll in 2001, which recognizes San Diego’s outstanding young leaders for their professional success and community involvement. In 2005, she was a recipient of a Tribute to Women in Industry (TWIN) Award by the YWCA, in recognition for her professional accomplishments and community service. Bridget has been an active volunteer with the Public Relations Society of America/San Diego Chapter for eight years, and has served for four years on its board of directors. Bridget has also served on the communications committee for the Child Abuse Prevention Foundation as well as an alumni representative for the UCSD undergraduate student life committee. She has also served on the board of advisors for San Diego Chapter Habitat for Humanity and co-chaired its marketing communications committee. She has also served on the marketing committees for STRIVE/Second Chance, which provides job readiness training for the homeless and hard-to-employ. Bridget graduated cum laude from the University of California, San Diego, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in literature and writing. |
