The Shops at Las Americas
Selects The McRae Agency to Handle Public Relations

San Diego (October 17, 2006):  Following an extensive agency review last month, The McRae Agency, a full-service public relations firm, has been selected to handle public and media relations for The Shops at Las Americas, the largest outlet center in San Diego County.

Located 20 minutes south of downtown, The Shops at Las Americas is made up of more than 125 designer outlet stores including California’s only Neiman Marcus Last Call. The center’s architecture resembles a quaint village accented with Mexican tiles and infused with rich earth tones to complement the surrounding landscape.  Soon, The Shops will also be home to family-owned restaurant, Achiote, the first cross-border counterpart of the famous La Espadaña in Tijuana.

Acquired in 2001, The Shops at Las Americas is a joint venture between Stoltz Real Estate Partners, L.P. who owns and manages over 10 million square feet of property and Pacific Coast Capital Partners, LLC, the premier provider of debt and equity capital for the entire spectrum of real estate projects in the western United States.

The McRae Agency will provide local and national public relations support for The Shops at Las Americas, which includes plans for a fun and unexpected promotion to celebrate the upcoming holiday shopping season.

Established in 1995, The McRae Agency is a full-service public relations firm with offices in San Diego and Phoenix. Some of the firm's other clients include Google, Henry's Farmers Market, Solatube International Inc., Sunny Delight/Fruit Simple, Gafcon, Marine Group Boat Works, San Diego Harbor Excursion, Complexions Rx, SharePoint360 and Bilbro Construction.
