NEWS RELEASE The McRae Agency Promotes San Diego (March 20, 2007): The McRae Agency, a San Diego-based public relations agency, has announced the promotion of Bridget Palitz to vice president. Palitz joined the agency in 1994 as a recent college graduate. In the more than 12 years that followed, she has watched the company grow from a modest two-woman shop to a thriving team of more than 10 public relations professionals in two states. Palitz has been responsible for managing the firm’s San Diego headquarters since 1999, while Principal Beth McRae, APR, runs the agency’s second office in Scottsdale, Ariz. “Bridget has demonstrated incredible leadership over the years. She is creative, strategic, motivational and best of all, a truly nice person,” said McRae. “Her loyalty and devotion have resulted in a tenure quite rare in this industry and I feel so fortunate to have her leading our team in San Diego.” Some of The McRae Agency’s current local and national accounts include Henry’s Farmers Market, Solatube International Inc., Google, EasyTurf, FruitSimple (by Sunny Delight Beverage Co.), Marine Group Boat Works, The Good Feet Store and The Shops at Las Americas. Palitz has served on the board of directors for the Public Relations Society of America’s San Diego Chapter as well as committees for several other community organizations, including Habitat for Humanity, STRIVE/Second Chance and the UCSD Alumni Association. She has received a variety of local business honors over the years including San Diego Metropolitan Magazine’s “40 Under 40” honor roll, the YWCA’s Tribute to Women in Business (TWIN) Award and the San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award. She graduated cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in literature/writing from the University of California, San Diego.
